Shiva – The Space of Stillness
Do not hurry.
This work does not care for haste. It demands nothing at all.
Simply linger near it.
We live in a world in which something is happening without pause.
In every moment we are called. Instructed. Persuaded. Warned. Advised.
And even when no one is there, the conversation continues within.
We argue. We justify ourselves. We plan. We remember. We are afraid.
And one day we begin to believe that this endless inner noise is who we are.
But it is not so.
Look at Shiva.
In him there is no struggle. No desire to prove anything. No haste.
There is only presence.
And a wondrous stillness.
Most people fear the stillness.
For it is precisely there that everything one might hide behind disappears.
Only the human being remains.
And the first feeling is often unfamiliar.
It seems as though nothing is happening.
Yet it is in that very moment that the most important thing happens.
Gradually, what was lost in the endless noise becomes audible.
Not a new voice.
The one that was always there.
Perhaps that is precisely why we say we are searching for answers.
Though in truth we are searching for the chance to finally hear what we have long known.
Look at Shiva once more.
He does not call you to follow him.
He says, as it were:
"Stay a little longer."
"Do not run away."
"You need do nothing."
Sometimes it seems to a person that if they pause, life will stand still with them.
Yet the opposite happens.
It is precisely in the stillness that it becomes clear where to go next.
Not because someone pointed out the way, but because everything that prevented us from seeing it has vanished.
If, beside this work today, you felt even a few seconds of inner stillness …
Do not try to remember the image.
Remember this state.
Perhaps it is this that will one day become the place to which you wish to return.
Not because life changes, but because, amid its noise, you wish to hear yourself again.
Do not try to fill the stillness.
Perhaps within it the answer already sounds – the one you have long been trying to remember.
Everything comes in the moment a person is ready to hear themselves.
This work does not care for haste. It demands nothing at all.
